About Litav

I am a strategic advisor, systems-navigator, and educator who helps business, non-profit, and public sector leaders build organizations where all employees, clients, and members can thrive. My career has spanned practice as an employment and commercial attorney in big law, civil rights compliance, and executive leadership in public higher education. These experiences uniquely position me to guide organizations in implementing human resources and client services practices that minimize risk and treat everyone fairly and respectfully.

Before launching Litav Langley Consulting LLC, I served as the inaugural LGBTQ+ Director at Western Washington University and then as Assistant Vice President for Student Access, Community, and Intercultural Engagement. In the latter role, my portfolio included departments delivering disability, multicultural, and LGBTQ+ student services, and leadership of multiple institution-wide initiatives.

Whether I’m helping a business leader through a difficult employee matter, creating a genuinely useful employee handbook, or training a team, my consultancy advances institutional compliance, equity in organizations, and individual growth. I’m especially passionate about facilitating structural change and organizational development that advance equity and belonging, and have deep experience creating policies and professional development initiatives that improve access and inclusion for diverse transgender and gender-expansive people.

Outside of work, I adore exploring new places near and far with my family. As my children hear me say often, I am forever struck by the beauty of the forests, mountains, and coast of the Pacific Northwest where we live.
